Who We Are
FMHO is a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the stigma around mental health. We were created in 2018, founded on the belief that women and teenage children who are struggling with their mental health should be provided with the necessary aid and resources that would ease their troubles. Since then, FMHO has evolved into the Fremont Mental Health Organization, hoping to help everyone in the Fremont and Tri-City area afflicted with troubles ranging from unhealthy amounts of stress to serious mental disorders.
Our Mission
Focusing on Mental Health

Many people in the world today face mental health issues but are afraid to seek help. One of the leading causes of this issue is because of the stigma associated with it. We are here to lighten that stigma and to create a safer environment for people struggling from mental health. Our goal is to help those who are afraid to get help by holding workshops and awareness meeting for mental health, bringing in guests speakers and healthcare professionals to talk about their experiences and advice, and to fundraise for more research on mental health so people can be helped in the most effective way.
